Motivation is an very important mechanism for the students to get success. Thing is that we cannot make a student to work hard if they are not inspired. Students can have world best books material lessons but is they are not inspired these things will not work.

Motivation is an element that plays important role in a student's life.
Both internally and externally motivation help students to succeed in all stages of their education and only a teacher can play a role of a motivator. Of course this thing is not easy to do as all students are  motivated in different ways and different manners. 

Here a teachers'task has become very difficult as they have to handle class full of students and also cheer themselves to look alike.

Sometimes an well educated teacher unable to keep students on right track due to lack of skills.

Today's discussion is on some ideas that can improve student's motivation.


a.  Let the students control the tasks

Teacher's guidance is important for students to keep them motivated at work.
One more thing is very important for the students is to give them control of what happening in class. If a teacher actually engage a student in class tasks is the best way for motivation. Like a teacher can allow the students to choose the type of assignments they want to work on. It can give them a sense of control and confidence to do more.
 

b.  Help the students to understand their objectives

Assignments completion within given time is an important task for the students. It can be very Frustrating for students if they have not clearly understanding of objectives regarding the task. A teacher should always meet their students with clear objectives and expectations so that they have no confusion regarding their goals.

 

c.  Create a stress free environment

Teacher need to students realiize that their actions have different results. If they do so , there are more positive boosting for students. When teachers develop a safe , supportive and stresss free environment for students , then instead of making the consequences of not doing their work , students believe on themselves . They study with their complete abilities , confidence to do their tasks more effectively.


d. Change the scenario

A teacher can change the scenario for the students to make study more interesting. As we know a classroom is always a great place for students to learn. But sometimes sitting at desk for hours make enviroment some dull for the students. So sometimes teachers should give chance to students to move out of classrooms. Students can go to library , can visit computer room for research work. The brain always learn more in changing environment , loves innovation and a new place can give more motivation.


e. Provide diversified experiences

All students have their different perspects , that is why students respond to their teachers in different manners. Some students like to read a book quitely in their minds, while some like to read in groups. Teachers can combine lessons to provide student diversified environment and let them choose what they like the best . Doing like this , will help students to remain focused and engaged.


f. Engage them in positive competetion


Classrooms should always a great place for healthy competetions. Competetions always give motivation to students to try harder and profficiently. A teacher can work to strengthen a supportive sense of competetion in the classrooms , may be for group related content and providing other oppurtunties to show students their knowledge and skills.


g. Reward


After competetion and hard work , students desrves rewards for their work. Students loves receiving awards as a result of their hard work. This can be a good source of inspiration . Rewards can be like a pizza party , watching movies or even a adventurous book to them can make work more harder and aim to achieve . A teacher can personally consider the needs and likings of their students to decide appropriate award for them. 


h. Enrol students for responsibility

To build a community understanding and inspire students , some class jobs need to be assigned to them. Most students will view classroom jobs as a privilege rather than a burden and work hard to ensure that they and other students are meeting expectations. It can also be useful to allow or help students to do leading activities so that everyone feels important and valuable.

g. Applaud on success

Encouragement is a major task that will work enough well for the students. 
There can be no other form of motivation that works well enough with encouragement. Even as adults we crave recognition and appreciation, and students are no exception at any age. Teachers can inspire students by publicly rewarding them for success, giving praise for work done well, and sharing exemplary work.


h. Encourage self-consideration

Self reflection is most important tool for success. Most children want to be successful, they just need help figuring out what they need to do to get there. One way to motivate your students is to have them take a hard look at themselves and determine their strengths and weaknesses. Students are often more motivated by creating these kinds of critiques of themselves, as teachers do for them, because it puts them in charge of creating their own objectives and goals. i. Passion for learning

The most leading way to inspire your students is to share your enthusiasm and passion. When you are excited about teaching, they will be more excited about learning. 


j. Fun in study

Not all classwork needs to be a sport or a good time, but students who see school as a place where they can have fun will be more motivated to pay attention and to do the work that they do. Consider it as the core. Adding fun activities to your school days can help students who struggle to stay engaged and make the classroom a more friendly place for all students.
